I wish one can put a poem on there and see if its similar to someone elses poem

Please release an ad free version of the app as the ads detract from immersive nature of poetry. I will pay.

As far as I know, there is no poetry app in the App Store with a broader selection of work, but this app has major deficiencies (and there is no obvious developer support contact info for feature requests, etc. on the app webpage, which is disappointing). It is a young app, though, and has a ton of potential. For now, I would describe it as beta quality, but with promise. So, some notes: 1) the apps content organization/discoverability is a huge limiting factor. There is a list of maybe a dozen major poets and a Poems About index, but no way to access the larger catalog other than to search for a specific name. There is no good way to browse the selection. 2) there is currently a brutal search bug, which doesnt let you see more than the top 5 listed poets. Hopefully this is temporary. 3) this app would really benefit from some sort of bookmark or favoriting system—as of now there is no way to mark a poem to make it easier to find in the future. 4) the ads are obtrusive and poorly implemented—they cause all sorts of interface problems, especially with scrolling. It would be nice if there was an in-app purchase to remove them.

"Buggy" - to say the least. Page appears bigger than scrolling allows. Search produces continuous error message.

I like this app, but please make it an option to keep certain poems under "favorites" or somewhere to keep them.

I downloaded this app thinking "this is so cool" but now that I have it I cant find any of the poems I am looking for. :(

You have a great concept in this app. However searching my poem title results in an error every time. Please improve the app

Interface looks great and I thought it would be great. Clicking on tags always results in "error occurred." Also, the search function has always been caught in "load" but hasnt gotten any farther.

I like variety of the poems but there are many errors and bugs in the app. I do think the app has to be updated and revised due to the complications occurring. I really like the app because it is one of the only ones which is elegant and diverse. please fix the errors and update it

If you can read poetry while ads scroll mindlessly at the bottom of the screen, you’ll enjoy the app.

Please add a book mark feature so that we can quickly short list our favorite poems and get back to them when we want to read them.

This app immediately crashes on my jail broken 6+ on iOS 8.1.1.

It has a very broad selection of works, but I believe there needs to be a way to store your favorite poems so that you can quickly find them.Something like a favorites tab

This app is about as well designed as the online website, which is to say, dogsh!... There is no way to locate your own poems, and the search function is effectively nonfunctional. PoemHunter seems less and less like a viable site for aspiring poets. But they dont mind selling your work to other sites! BEWARE.

The app shuts down when you try to search.

Nice idea, but woa: if it isnt loading at the pace of 18th century glaciers, it just stops altogether.

Dont bother the Internet is better it wouldnt load my fav poet Walt Whitman when it tried it would always say error( I would give it no stars because that is what it deserves)

This is exactly what I was looking for. The selection is great, and I love the daily poem. The only downside I see at present is that theres no way to favorite or save poems that Id like to keep track of and the search feature doesnt work at all for me

I dont think I ever wouldve considered downloading this app if it werent for the well designed logo, and poor understanding of conventional English in the ads, but once I did get the app, I tried searching through poems in just about every way possible, and errors occurred just about every time I pressed anything, causing the app to crash.

App Store says "Error occurred" fixed but it is still not working. Would probably like it if it did what it says it does.
